Where
A short walk from the shore in Sittanunku, on the Gambian coast — quiet, and off the resort strip.
Stay
Four room types, from garden-facing doubles to a private seaview cabin.
Run on
Solar power, borehole water, and whatever the kitchen garden is producing that week.
A guesthouse, not a resort
Sitta Seaview started as one thatched building and a stretch of garden between the road and the coast. It’s still small on purpose — a handful of rooms, run by people who live here, cooking with what the garden and the local market give us that day.
Rooms & cabins
Every room is built from local materials and priced simply — no resort fees, no fine print.
Garden Room
A simple, comfortable double looking onto the garden. Cool tiled floors, a ceiling fan, and a veranda for the slow part of the morning.

Seaview Cabin
Our thatched-roof cabin, set slightly apart with its own deck facing the water. The one to book if you don’t plan on leaving it much.

"The Seaview Cabin was worth every dalasi. Fell asleep to the water and woke up to it too."

"We came for two nights and stayed for five. The food alone was worth the trip — everything tasted like it had been picked that morning, because it had."
